Job Description: Online Travel Administrator
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Online Travel Administrator with expertise in digital marketing, social media promotion and management, online booking engine management, and web development. This role requires a versatile professional who can enhance our online presence, manage booking systems, and optimize digital marketing efforts to drive engagement and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Online Booking Engine Management:
- Manage and optimize the company’s online booking platforms to ensure a seamless user experience.
- Regularly update flight, hotel, and travel packages on the booking engine.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to the booking engine and liaise with vendors for resolution.
- Analyse booking trends and provide reports on performance metrics.
2. Digital Marketing:
- Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns to promote travel services, offers, and packages.
- Utilize SEO/SEM strategies to improve website visibility and traffic.
- Manage email marketing campaigns, including newsletter creation and distribution.
- Track and report the performance of digital campaigns, providing actionable insights.
3. Social Media Promotion and Management:
- Create, schedule, and manage engaging content across social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter).
- Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social platforms in a timely and professional manner.
- Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to increase reach and conversions.
- Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies to stay ahead of the competition.
4. Web Development and Management:
- Maintain and update the company website, ensuring it is user-friendly, mobile-responsive, and up-to-date.
- Implement website enhancements to improve usability and visual appeal.
- Use PHP to build and manage web functionalities and integrations.
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and address any issues.
5. Customer Engagement and Support:
- Address customer inquiries related to online bookings and travel services.
- Provide support during the booking process and resolve issues promptly.
- Gather feedback from customers to improve service offerings.
6. Strategy and Innovation:
- Research and identify new tools, technologies, and strategies to enhance online travel operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: ND, HND, or Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, IT, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in online travel operations, digital marketing, or a related role.
- Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in PHP for web development.
o Knowledge of booking engine platforms and integrations.
o Expertise in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
o Familiarity with digital marketing tools (e.g., Google Ads, Analytics, SEMrush).
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with travel-related CRM systems.
- Graphic design skills for content creation (e.g., Canva, Photoshop).
- Certification in Google Ads, SEO, or Social Media Marketing.
