Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design original fashion apparel
- Conduct research on market trends, consumer preferences, and emerging styles
- Create sketches and illustrations for new fashion apparel
- Collaborate with product development and production teams to bring designs to life
- Experiment with innovative materials, patterns, and techniques
- Available to attend team meetings as required
Requirements:
- A high school diploma/Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Fashion Design or a related field.
- Proven experience as a fashion designer or in a similar creative role.
- Strong sketching and illustration skills, with proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar tools.
- A strong eye for detail, creativity, and a passion for innovative design.
- Understanding of textiles, materials, and garment construction techniques.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including product development and marketing.
- Strong ability to adapt designs to meet consumer demands and market trends.
- A compelling portfolio showcasing original fashion designs and concepts.
